Meet Larry K.
by Steve Brose

Larry joined Indepak in 1989 as a Design Engineer in the Engineering and Tooling Dept and has been designing packages and tooling ever since.  As the company has grown over the years, he has more designers to interact with.  Larry says he especially enjoys watching their progression.  The favorite part of his job is the challenge of designing packages to meet our customers requirements.

Larry was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Oregon in 1980.  He says the Oregon outdoors is magnificent and he enjoys hiking, bicycling, fishing and traveling.    Larry discovered bicycling in 1989 and by 1993 had progressed to joining a bicycle tour from Bellingham Washington to Canton, Ohio (his home town).  He covered 4,000 miles over 9 weeks and made 5 continental divide crossings including Glacier Park and Yellowstone Park.

Larry says he discovered happiness through marriage and they both enjoy the outdoors, especially the Oregon coast.

Co-worker comments:
"Larry was part of a customer group we used to call on.  Through circumstances and buyouts he became available.  We sought him out as an employee because of his skill and conduct.  He is a valuable part of our team."

"Larry is a cornerstone of our design team.  He is a skilled designer and very pleasant to work with..  We call on him often for developmental help."
