Meet Roger K.
by Steve Brose

Roger started working at Indepak as a temporary service employee in July of 1997.  He accepted a full-time position as an engineering technician in December of the same year.  His work background helped him adapt to his new responsibilities which include; building, modifying, programming and troubleshooting the machinery and equipment at our facilities.  Roger has gained much experience and works in many different functional areas as a technical support person.  He says that he loves his job as it provides the opportunity to work in different areas doing many different things.  That variety, plus the freedom and versatility his job has are attractive to him.

Roger was born in Grandview, Washington, lived in Pasco, spent many years in Yakima, and now lives in a newly purchased home in Vancouver with his wife Shelley.  He has 4 boys, the oldest 30 and the youngest 17 along with 1 granddaughter and another grandchild due next February.

He likes fishing when he has the time, camping, playing pool, and the outdoors in general.

Co-worker comments:
"Roger is eager to do anything we ask him to, is happy to do it and is very pleasant to work with."

"He's a great team player and sets a good example for the rest of the company."

"He's ok after he's had his morning dose of Geritol and Metamucil."
(Example of Indepak humor)

Thanks for letting us feature you this month Roger.  You are a good technical support person for us and have friends in many different departments here.
