Meet Bert W.

Bert is a level III production operator (our highest level) in our Thermoforming Department and has worked at Indepak since 1991.  In her duties, she operates the thermoforming machinery, packages parts, and has quality assurance responsibilities.   In addition, she has learned materials expediting duties and is an assistant to the production supervisor.  Bert has enhanced responsiblities and enjoys her role.  She says that every day is a new adventure for her.  She is learning how to interact and adjust to people with different personalities and is proud of her self improvement. 

Bert was born and raised in S. Dakota and comes from "a very German family."   She is a single Mom with 4 children and 1 grandson.  For hobbies, Bert loves camping, riding her Waverunner at Cove Palisades State Park, and likes to read when time permits.  For a new adventure, she is teaching herself how to use her home personal computer.   Every year, she visits the Octoberfest at Mt. Angel, Oregon, and this year is planning on wearing traditional clothing with her friend in honor of her friends Father who recently passed away.  He visited the festival every year for over 50 years.
