Meet Rian K.

Rian was hired in December of 2002 as our Customer and Vendor Services Manager.  He manages customer service as well as the purchasing of raw materials, shipping and receiving, and inventory functions.  Most recently, he is spearheading the implementation of our new corporate Enterprise Resource Planning software.  He has years of experience with startup ventures and comes from a technical background.  He is a self-proclaimed "techie."

Rian's background includes all aspects of starting manufacturing facilities from the ground up.  He has 8 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry, 5 years with Coca-Cola^® in warehousing and distribution, and 7 years in food processing.

Rian was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and has been in almost every state in the U.S.  He has traveled or worked on the east coast, the southern states, Canada, and the northwest and California.  He lived in Texas and now lives in Scappoose, Oregon with his wife and 3 kids.  Rian and his wife are expecting another child soon.  

His hobbies and interests include; computers, hardware, software, and technology in general.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and backpacking.  He says he has backpacked with his wife to favorite places like west Yellowstone National Park and Grand-Teton National Park.  Rian also really enjoys woodworking.

Rian says he has only been at Indepak a short time, but recognizes that Indepak has made wonderful advances from what he has seen.  He compares the achievements to those of much larger companies.  He feels that the culture and teamwork is what has made the company as successful as it is.  The employees are "the most talented he has seen" and credits the good job Indepak has done of picking people who are a good fit to their jobs.
