Annual Christmas Dinner    December, 2007
       
Dave and Jan Aho invited their employees and a guest to have dinner with them at Lakeside Gardens in Portland in appreciation for another year of dedication and hard work.  It was a time for socializing and sharing a great meal together.  This is the employees favorite event of the year.

There was a re-cap of the highlights of the year by our general manager, Chris Aho along with his appreciation for everyone's hard work and determination.  This was an opportunity for everyone to spend time together and recognize the many blessings we have and share together in our workplace.  Thank you Jan and Dave!

Annual Costume Party    October 2007
           
Our annual Costume Party was held in October again this year.  We shut down at noon for pizza and costume judging.  Winners for each shift received paid time off.  There were also prizes for pumpkin carving.  The party was a lot of fun and our H.R. dept. did a wonderful job!

10^th Annual Corn Feed and Barbeque  September, 2007
       
Our 10^th Annual Corn Feed took place in September.  Many volunteers helped with the preparation of this annual end-of-Summer event.  Our H.R. Department supplied the fresh local corn on the cob along with hot dogs and hamburgers.  Employees pitched in to help prepare the corn and food, set up tables and get the grills going.  The weather cooperated and employees shared a nice lunch together outdoors.  A special thanks to the many volunteers for helping and to our H.R. Dept. for coordinating the event.

Annual Employee Picnic    June, 2007
               
Our annual Employee Picnic was held on Wednesday, June 6th at Blue Lake Park.  The weather was perfect and employees were able to spend time together relaxing while eating a nice catered lunch.  There was a Western theme and events included an egg toss, volleyball, a gift giveaway, pie eating contest and steer roping.  Our H.R. department coordinated the event.

As usual, the weather cooperated and the picnic was a great success.  We thank our owners Dave and Jan Aho for their generosity.  

Annual Employee Appreciation Breakfast    May, 2007
           
Our annual employee appreciation breakfast was held on Thursday, May 24th  for everyone to enjoy during their morning break.  This year, our H.R. Dept. and helpers cooked a very good outdoor breakfast for us.  It was another nice break together during our hectic work week and a time for everyone to enjoy a special morning meal.

The event is our owners way of saying thank you to employees for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.
