History of Indepak

In April 1967, Dave and Jan Aho purchased a small packaging business in Gresham, Oregon.

Due to Dave's determination and creativity in meeting his customers' needs, the company has continued to outgrow it's quarters, resulting in several moves.

Indepak has evolved to become a leader in the Pacific Northwest in custom thermoforming of packaging using a variety of plastic materials and is one of the largest manufacturers of fluoride dental trays in the country.  Much of our success as a progressive, innovative, quality-oriented company is due to the guidance and direction of the owner, the contributions of many dedicated employees, and a team approach to problem solving.

Indepak takes great pride in the manufacturing processes that we have developed over the years and continues to make every effort to provide manufacturing and tooling  facilities that are safe, modern, and efficient.  Employees at all levels are part of that manufacturing team and are encouraged to share ideas that will contribute to improvement of our operations.

Today, Indepak is a uniquely qualified, vertically integrated thermoformer.  We design and build our own production machines, forming molds, and specialized equipment.  We have proven our capabilities for consistent on-time delivery of quality parts to a wide variety of industries.  Because of our proven performance, we now serve customers around the world in such locations as Singapore, Puerto Rico, Spain, Ireland, and other countries.  Additionally, many of the products we produce for our customers are sent directly to other foreign countries - for example a large amount of one of our products is shipped by our customer to South Africa.   Finally, packaging which we produce for our customers may literally find it's way to any place on the globe.
