Indepak Celebrates 40 Years in Business

In 2007, Indepak is celebrating it's 40th anniversary.  There are different celebrations planned during the year for employees and family to celebrate this great milestone.  Congratulations are in order to owners Dave and Jan Aho for their hard work and tenacity in building a great business with quality products, talented employees and a wonderful culture.

Indepak acquires Puget Sound Inline and opens sales office in Tacoma

In January, 2004 Indepak acquired Puget Sound Inline, a custom thermoforming company in Tacoma, Washington.  Customers will be served from Indepak's Portland, Oregon headquarters where the new machinery and assets were consolidated.  Mr. Bob Shupe, former owner, was hired by Indepak to manage sales efforts in Washington from a new sales office in the Tacoma area.

Indepak is one of the Top 100 Companies to work for in Oregon

Indepak was honored with being named one of Oregon Business Magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2004.  The contest is an annual event hosted by the popular magazine.  Businesses are nominated by employees who then complete a survey rating their employer in various categories.  In the past several years, Indepak employees showed their appreciation to the owners for their great workplace by participating in the contest and winning a place on the list.

Indepak Employee Library

As a resource for our employees and their families, we have created a Library.  There are hundreds of books, audio's and videos that were donated by Jan and Dave Aho, employees and organizations.  There are a wide range of topics such as Family, Parenting, Relationships, Christian Living, Success and Inspiration.  Indepak promotes putting family first and it is our hope that this valuable resource will play a part in that.

Indepak Expands

Indepak has a new 50,000 square foot building as an addition to existing manufacturing and warehouse space.  The new space will enable more efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods and increase efficiency in shipping and receiving.  This new space will enable Indepak to better serve it's customers.

Indepak moves into new corporate headquarters

In addition to corporate offices, our new facility provides an additional 14,000 square feet of multi-purpose space.  This new facility is one of three buildings on the Indepak campus.
