At Indepak, we’ve been creating industrial thermoform packaging for more than 50 years. Since 1967, our family-owned business has been designing and producing thermoform plastic packaging for a myriad of industries and products. Here’s a quick look at what we do.
Throughout the last 50 years, we’ve designed industrial thermoform packaging for just about any industry imaginable. For instance, the specialty foods industry has long been one of our niche markets, and we can design cups, clamshells, tubs, trays and lids as well as unconventional applications with highly unique designs. Our experienced design team will ensure that the materials and processes we use comply with GMP for direct contact food packaging.
For the electronics industry, we can design packaging to protect your static-sensitive products. We work with a wide variety of materials, from dissipative to conductive, and we will work closely with you to create the appropriate design and materials for your application.
At Indepak, we also can produce low particulate packaging, intended for non-sterile or downstream sterilization applications for the medical and pharmaceutical industries. We provide detailed record keeping, ensuring traceability down to the box level.
We also have the depth of experience to provide packaging, such as thermoform trays, for the agricultural industry as well as providing packaging for just about any type of retail client. This includes creating industrial thermoform packaging for tools, office supplies, toys, personal care products and much more.
Types of Packaging
Throughout the last 50 years, we created just about every type of industrial thermoform package that you might need. This includes clamshell packaging and all types of blister packaging, from trap blisters to face seal blisters and beyond. We also can design any type of thermoform tray you might need, as well as tubs and lids. Of course, not everything we design is a package, so if you need cups, parts or perhaps point-of-sale displays, we can create these items as well.
Our facility includes multiple lines of high-speed industrial thermoform equipment, allowing us to process a wide range of rigid thermoform materials as well as foam materials. Our equipment can process materials such as PET, PETG, ABS, PVC, HDPE, OPS, PP and starch-based biomaterials.
Advantages Of Industrial Thermoform Packaging
There are many reasons to consider using industrial thermoform packaging. The materials we use are highly affordable, which makes it a budget-friendly option. The light weight also helps reduce shipping costs, and the materials we use are highly durable, protecting your product from moisture, mold, tampering and other types of damage.
When it comes to sustainability, virtually every material we use at Indepak can be recycled. Additionally, we are experts in the creation of trap blisters and other combination designs that include a mix of plastics and paper or pulp. We can create many types of packaging using materials with recycled content as well as using starch-based bioplastics.
Our goal is to provide each client with a total packaging solution, and to that end, we offer several additional services beyond our industrial thermoform capabilities. For instance, we can provide you with package fulfilment services, such as RF welding and heat sealing.
With our 50,000 square feet of warehouse, we also can partner with you to optimize and manage your inventory. We can create a custom inventory management system that meets your needs, from a simple minimum/maximum system up to more sophisticated customer-based web portals.
